LISA RICHARDSON


Junior Coach & County Sports Hall Athletics Coordinator

I started running when I joined secondary school, as my PE teacher suggested it after watching me play hockey. This led to me joining a local club and representing the county of Hampshire in cross country, 800m and 1500m. Later, I enjoyed participating in heptathlons during my time with the RAF.

Favourite Events:

- Jumps

Best Sporting Achievements:
- Competing for GB in Bobsleigh
- Winning a silver medal world cup race
- Completing an Ironman triathlon


TIM WIGLEY


Senior Coach

I started running to aid my love of Judo, as I competed in the junior national championships. I am lucky to have been part of the very first Bourne Town Harriers training session approximately 32 years ago and have always enjoyed being involved in the senior training sessions.

Favourite Event:
- Beachy Head Marathon (formally Seven Sisters Marathon)

Best Sporting Achievements:
- Finishing 3rd in Beachy Head Marathon
- Competing for Lincolnshire - Inter-counties XC & 20 mile championships
- Qualifying twice for the English Masters Marathon


ALISON COOPER


Endurance Coach

I have always been interested in watching Athletics on the TV and have spectated the London Marathon and 2012 Olympic Games. I have been at Bourne Town Harriers since 2013 and specialise in endurance coaching.

Best Sporting Achievements:
- Competitive rower for 15 years
- Completing the Corby North Midlands Cross Country at an age of 44


NADINE FRY


Assistant Coach

I have always been a sports person. In school I was captain of a handball team, throwing the shot put in county competitions and swimming on a national level. I'm still active today, even joining a Netball team recently.

Favourite Events:
- Shot Put
- High Jump
- Swimming (back stoke)

Best Sporting Achievement:
- Winning Gold & Silver for 100m back stoke at the Nationals (Germany)
- Winning Handball League (Germany)


ALISON BURTON


LiRF qualified Run Leader

I began running in 2015 to help with my anxiety, fitness and general health. I am an LiRF (Leadership in Running Fitness) approved run leader and help others find their love for running. I love a Parkrun and have completed many races up to half marathon distance.

Favourite Events:
- Parkrun to Half Marathon races
- Equinox24
